Dr. Ariel Perez Carbajal is the Director of Functional Medicine at the Immunotherapy Institute in Tijuana, a holistic treatment center backed by Hospital Angeles — Mexico's largest private hospital network. He is a functional and integrative physician specializing in the treatment of chronic illnesses and cancer.

He graduated from Baja California State University (UABC) as a General Practitioner and completed advanced certification at the Institute for Functional Medicine, finishing at the top of his class.
