City-wise Cost Sheet
The table below presents an estimated package price range for TAVR in each city, inclusive of the current promotional offer. TAVR pricing depends heavily on the type of valve used, imported or indigenously manufactured, so these figures are indicative estimates, not fixed quotes. The final price is confirmed only after your echocardiogram, CT scan, and medical reports are reviewed by our partner structural heart specialists.
| City | GHO Offer Price, 40% Off (INR) |
| Delhi NCR | Rs. 9,60,000 to Rs. 12,00,000 |
| Mumbai | Rs. 10,20,000 to Rs. 12,60,000 |
| Bengaluru | Rs. 9,30,000 to Rs. 11,70,000 |
| Chennai | Rs. 9,90,000 to Rs. 12,30,000 |
| Hyderabad | Rs. 9,00,000 to Rs. 11,40,000 |
The package price includes the structural heart team and catheterisation lab fees, standard hospital and ICU charges, one transcatheter valve, and routine post-procedure care during your hospital stay. It does not include pre-treatment diagnostic imaging done outside the package, premium imported valve upgrades, accommodation and travel outside the hospital stay, or treatment for pre-existing conditions unrelated to the valve procedure. A complete, itemised quote is shared with every patient once medical reports are reviewed.
Surgery and Treatment Details
TAVR is a minimally invasive alternative to open-heart valve surgery, used to treat severe aortic stenosis, a condition in which the aortic valve narrows and restricts blood flow from the heart. It is particularly suited to patients who are considered at higher risk for traditional open surgery due to age or other health conditions, though it is increasingly offered to a broader range of patients as the technology has matured.
Transfemoral TAVR
The most common approach, in which the collapsible replacement valve is guided to the heart through a catheter inserted via an artery in the groin, without the need to open the chest. This is the preferred access route for the majority of patients.
Alternative Access TAVR
For patients whose femoral arteries are unsuitable for catheter access, the valve may instead be delivered through an artery in the chest, collarbone region, or a small incision near the heart, depending on individual anatomy.
Valve-in-Valve TAVR
For patients with a previously implanted biological valve that has degenerated over time, a new transcatheter valve can be placed within the existing valve, avoiding the need for repeat open-heart surgery.
The procedure is generally performed under local or general anaesthesia and typically takes between one and two hours. Most patients are mobilised within a day of the procedure. Success rates at India's leading structural heart programmes are 95% and above.
