The package price includes surgeon fees, hospital and room charges, a standard implant, and routine post-operative physiotherapy during your hospital stay. It does not include pre-treatment diagnostic tests done outside the package, premium or imported implant upgrades such as ceramic-on-ceramic components, accommodation and travel outside the hospital stay, or treatment for pre-existing conditions unrelated to the hip procedure. A complete, itemised quote is shared with every patient once medical reports are reviewed.

Surgery and Treatment Details

Total hip replacement is generally recommended for patients experiencing persistent hip pain, stiffness, or reduced mobility due to advanced osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, avascular necrosis, or hip fracture, where medication and physiotherapy have not provided lasting relief. The damaged ball and socket of the hip joint are removed and replaced with an artificial implant, restoring smooth, pain-free movement.

Conventional Total Hip Replacement

The most established approach, in which the surgeon accesses the hip joint through a standard incision, removes the damaged bone surfaces, and fits a prosthetic ball and socket implant. This technique remains the standard for the majority of patients.

Minimally Invasive Hip Replacement

Performed through smaller incisions with specialised instruments, this technique aims to reduce muscle disruption around the hip, which can contribute to less post-operative pain and a faster return to daily activity for suitable candidates.

Robotic-Assisted Hip Replacement

Using robotic guidance, the surgeon achieves highly precise implant positioning and alignment, which can contribute to improved implant longevity and a more natural range of motion after surgery.

Surgery is performed under spinal or general anaesthesia and typically takes between one and two hours.
